Hello, my father was in the Viet Nam war and I have been trying to find some or any information on him. He passed away October 19,2004.I have  every letter he ever wrote to my grandmother while he was in training and in the war which was approx. from 1966 to 1968.I have had no luck at finding anything on him. I have a letter here that is dated March 31 1968 and he states he is in the 2 battalion 12th infantry of the 25th division. He also says there is a sketch in the 25th division times about him and his unit in it and a picture in the Army Times around that time also. I have  searched on some about Jan. to March of 1968 but still no luck. I would deeply appreciate any help or info you  can send me.   My father`s name was Walter Albert Crabtree JR. He may of just been called Walt Crabtree.  My husband`s e-mail is michael_bacon@att.net   thanks Anita

I am looking for men that served with my father in Vietnam. My father Ron deBoer was
a medic with the 2/12th Recon fall of 1967. I know my fathers buddy Raymond B. Minus
was killed in Action near where my fahter was in Oct 67, they were not together. I
believe Raymond Minus may have been killed in the Ong Thang ambush. My fahter was
awarded the Bronze Star for rescuing 3 guys in a fire fight while he was there but I
don't know much more about that incident or the date. My fahter is alive and living
in Michigan. He has asked that I try and find guys he served with. My hopes are that
reuniting him with them may help lift my dads spirits.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

I am wondering if anyone could communicate memories of my husband, Lt. Steven Boal, A Company 2/12 Infantry.  He was killed in action on October 24, 1969.  If anyone has pictures or stories or can recount any incidents about his time in country or the action on the day he died, I would appreciate it.

Please communicate with me at tonilin@aol.com.
